Eligibility & Rules

• Open to badminton enthusiasts of any nationality and race; participants must voluntarily enter and be in good health.
• Any accidents occurring during the competition are the sole responsibility of the participant.
• Participants aged 65 and above are not covered by insurance and require a signed declaration from a family member.
• Players can enter a maximum of three (3) events, provided the third event is a 3P event.
• Ex-professional players aged 50 and above may enter the amateur group, but cannot pair up with another ex-professional in a double event.
• Players ranked within the BWF World Top 100 are not eligible to participate.
• Participants must present a valid ID or a clear photo of the document during the tournament.
• Parent & Child categories must provide proof of relationship, such as a birth certificate copy.
• Formal appeals require a deposit of RM 600 (1000 RMB) and must be submitted within 30 minutes of the incident.

Competition Format

• Matches consist of one game using a 31 rally points system, with ends changing at point 16, and no deuce.
• The first round is a Group Stage, and the second round is Knockout/Elimination.
• Late arrivals beyond 5 minutes will be considered a walkover.
• Players with back-to-back matches are allowed a 30-minute rest.

3P Competition Format

• A category receiving at least 4 team registrations will be held separately.
• Before the match begins, two players (as shown in the diagram: Player 1 and Player 2) must be designated as the server and receiver.
• The third player (as shown in the diagram: Player 3) is not allowed to serve but may assist in the back court positions to return long serves.

Registration Details & Key Dates

• Registration is open from June 15 to August 21, 2025.
• Registration is only considered successful after the payment is completed.
• Substitution is allowed on a case-by-case basis up to 1 day before the tournament with committee approval.

Awards Structure

• Medals, certificates, sports equipment, and prizes are awarded to the top three podium finishers.
• Certificates are awarded for fifth to eighth place.
• For a group of 12 or more players, awards will be given to the top 8.
• For a group of 6-11 players, awards will be given to the top 3.
• For a group of 4-5 players, awards will be given to the champion and runners up.
• For a group of 3 players, awards will be given to the champion.
• If an event only consists of 1 or 2 players, the event will be merged or cancelled.
